wow! nice picture!! the contrast with green and red is very nice! i like the low camera angle, looking up to the tree and how the other apples and leaves in the background are kinda out of focus. nice workkk!!! woah, my first comment deleted...sorry. have a nice break!! ~ashley
I love the big red juicy apple! Your photo makes me want to go on my tip-toes, open my mouth wide and take a bite of that apple! Your photo brings me back to the days when I went apple picking at an orchard during the fall with my classmates on a field trip. Do you remember those good times? Your low angle makes me feel like a little kid looking up at the perfect apple to pick. Your close up holds my focus on the apple. Though I do get a sense of the apple's environment due to the leaves and branches in the backround. The bright lighting tells me it's the middle of the day, the perfect time for apple picking! You use a "rack" focus so that the leaves and branches in the backroud are blury but the apple is boldly detailed. Nice post, ~ Lace
This is a great photo, Lauren!!! Where is this photo? Is this tree in your backyard or something? Do pick apples regularly and bake apple pie? :)
The composition is of a big red apple hanging from a tree branch. It's a close up shot of the apple, and a flat angle that makes me feel like I'm standing a ladder examining the apple. There is natural light which makes the photo cherry and bright, and there are barely any shadows. Overall, this photograph just makes me feel very happy, and the close up of the sweet apple makes me find that happiness in simplicity (if that makes sense).
Anyways, I love this photo! See you tomorrow in French!!!
I love this picture! The leading line of the branch takes your eye right to the big apple. There is just enought contrast between the red and greento make the apple stand out, but not to much to make it seem harsh. I like how it feels like your right there in the tree, due to the low angle still coming from in the tree. The close distance is at just the right distance so the apple feels as though it's in reach, but not in your face. The natural light coming through the branches in the background makes it seem like the middle of the day. The overall picture makes me feel it's a fun afternoon of apple picking, and through climbing a tree, I've come upon the perfect red juicy apple among all the others. Good job Lauren! ~Anne
I love how this picture really reminds me of fall! love the color in the apple versus the color of the leaves. The angle is low, making me feel as if I'm going apple picking and I see one just right. The distance is a shortish medium shot, close enough to see the detail on the apple, but far enough away to see the leaves and sunlight streaming through them.
